Visions of Mulu: Message from Dato Robert Geneid

Mulu is a place where you can marvel at the wonders of nature. Its topography rises from less than 30 metres above sea level, where you are enveloped in primeval tropical rainforest and undisturbed ecosystems, to a staggering 2,376 metres above sea level where the vegetation is sub alpine. Visitors to Mulu enjoy warm days and temperate evenings when the cool mountain air descends into the Mulu valley. Nightfall also brings the rainforest alive with a symphony of sights and sounds - the flickering of the fireflies and the jungle orchestra of insects, frogs and other nocturnal creatures.

Borsarmulu announces Annual Scholarship Prize and Encouragement Award

Dato Robert Geneid has announced a once only initial gift of RM2,500 from Borsarmulu to the Parents and Teachers Association to be used as incentives for selected students and that from this day forward Borsarmulu will provide an Annual Scholarship Prize and Encouragement Award to the students of SK Batu Bangan.

Dato Robert Geneid is an experienced businessman in the field of tourism and especially in eco-tourism. He has developed the Miri Marriot Resort and Spa and the Royal Mulu Resort, both international hotels. He has also served on the board of Tourism Malaysia and the Malaysian Convention and Exhibition Bureau.
